Alison Thompson has always loved to cook. She is well known in the community for her delicious pies, irresistible cookies, and her creative approach to cooking.  A Canadian girl born of Jamaican parents Alison is proud of her heritage and you can always find influences of her combined traditions in the menu.  Whenever there is a celebration Alison's baked goods were always an anticipated treat.

In 2010, Alison's family  and friends finally convinced her to share her magical  talent in the kitchen with the community-at-large.  Secretly she always dreamed of running her own cafe but never dreamed she would have the opportunity to fulfill her dreams in beautiful Costa Rica.

Le Petit Cafe is not only famous for its delicious cakes, pies, and cookies. The cafe offers paninis, salads and daily specials to please every palette. Prepared with only the freshest ingredients, and a sprinkling of love, Alison's signature pies are unmatched in quality, freshness, and taste.
